Important Month

As the one of the most important month of the year is coming to an end, it's time to brace for February adventures. I've been packed with tutorials, projects, and presentations. For every module must I say. As time is tight, I have to dwell a lot with my organiser which has been an important part of my life. Without it, I will probably be lost. So, what happened a few weeks back?

Shangri-La
A few weeks back I went to Shangri-La with Fiz for hi-tea and stay over, it was good because whenever I went there it will be usually dark already so I can't really see what the view has got to offer until we sat at the other side of the club where I saw Buona Vista and a glimpse of my school. It was wonderful though I have to admit hazy weather spoils the panoramic view.

The Substation
As one of my lecturers invited me to one of the events to take photographs, last night was my first time to The Substation. Honestly, I was clueless on how do I get there because I don't remember reading the map on how to get there. Even if I did, it would be ages before the day of the event. It was a movie screening and in one of the movie I saw one of my relatives in it. I kinda go hoo-haa for a moment but got over it quick. Anyway, it was all cool to me because I had some time mingling with neighbouring classmates. I hope the photographs taken are nice enough.

NS-shopping
I'm not enlisted for NS yet but I do have friends of my age who will be serving the nation soon. Since they will be gone real soon to face the adventures of their own, it will be only right to spend time with them now. So in a way to spend time with them, we followed one of them, Syaz for his "NS-shopping". So he needs to get his toiletries and all, and I was like the adviser! Surprisingly now I've gotten a new shampoo alternative for my hair with the scent that I like. I've not finished my toiletries yet, and I've yet to find the perfume that I want. Speaking of perfumes, I think I have my 3-years of perfume supply ever since two years ago. Go figure. Anyway, thanks for Syaz for the wonderful treat as well as Khai and Tim.

Exams!
As my school term is coming to an end, it would seem wrong if it ends without a finale. I bet you know what I mean: Exams! I can like literally jump with excitement or sweat with fear because this is the last term of the year and long vacation awaits. So, let's hope that the exam will be a breeze for all of us and get the grades that we want. So, checklist, I have to complete my tutorials, followed by project(s), and lastly, term test and exams. I hope you wish me all the best in my academic and social endeavours! And thanks to my group mates and those who has made school life easy for me.

Stuffed

January Blues
It's the start of the year and just like most of you, I would want to start it on the right note but since the holidays, just like Monday blues, at times things don't just go the way you want it to be but it's fine because for every pain we face there is a cure. I've been loaded with work and chasing time to be at more than one places at almost once. The thrill is there but there are times where you feel like succumbing facing things that you probably couldn't face. But with time, you soon realise you will get use to it and have the solution without feeling resentful.

Errand gone mad
Last week I was out with Syaz to get my toiletries, so I thought I would just take the car and go to the store nearby but ended up at Giant hyper mart. After all it's quite a distance and I asked Syaz to accompany me (in case the paparazzi's are going to chase me, I have a backup, just kidding!) From toiletries shopping errand of just a page list, the shopping cart happen to overflow the list! Thankfully Syaz was there to help me around with the finding of things around because honestly, I was quite lost.

Recently he showed me this particular video made for a school project, apart from loving the camera and the quality, I just like to see him trying to lip-synch because this is like his first video clip (I was amused initially) but apart from laughing, one ought to listen to the simple yet meaningful lyric. I think his hard work paid of. I am proud for the fact that the song and lyric is written by him. It's in Malay, but this song tells me about how life is defined: it is up to you on how you want to lead your life, and there is no other hero than yourself.

313@Somerset
Last night I went to 313@Somerset with Fiz and Nat, for the first time since it's the new mall in town after ION Orchard. Finally we met after about three weeks of missing in action because of school assignments and projects which never fail to stop flowing into the streams of my organiser. The new mall was awesome except for the little fact that it could do better with some Forever 21 men's collection (Heritage) since it has three levels, might as well save one level for men. At least Kuala Lumpur's The Pavillion has a segment although not the entire storey of men's line. Demand for men's fashion is booming if you realise. Food for thought.

Dempysey Hill
As Nat had to go, we decided to head back and when she left, Fiz and I thought we could spend a little more time for boys night out. Okay, so much for boys night out, as usual, I don't know the way and we got lost a little but found our way around. Should have burnt some religious songs to be played in the car in case someone feels creeped out! We wanted to have a cup of tea at Dome to sit and chat and while we were busy contemplating on which seat to occupy the waitress came and said that they were closed!

New Year 2010

New Year's Eve
New year's eve was spent with one of my best friends, Syaz. We've not met for ages. We meet but we didn't hang out due to his exams and all, so new year's eve was a good time to hang out and we watched Avatar. Avatar was inspiring and heart-warming, although you may say that I fall for a movie that is bound to happen in real life. I heard they make that movie over a span of like what, 13 years? 13 years would have just go down the drain if it does not make into the box office.

New Year 2010!
Alhamdulillah, we had just entered into the new year (2010) in the Gregorian calendar and this year, I hope I can get all the happiness I want. My countdown was celebrated in the car with my family, just in time to see the fireworks after watching Avatar (again) and Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was spectacular enough that it caused the traffic jam at the Swissotel vicinity! Whatever it is, it was worth queuing in the traffic jam.

Bagaikan Sakti Concert at Esplanade
To celebrate the first day of the new year, my mum and I attended the concert of two well-known Malay artist, M. Nasir and Siti Nurhaliza. I enjoyed myself very much and thanks to my dad for sending to me to this sold out concert. It was entertaining with their familiar music that never fail to bore my ear drums. Finally I got my hands on CTKD album.
