May 2015 - Must Watch Movies!

Before I even say hello, let's say hi to May! It's almost half a year and it's about time to look back into our 2015 new year goals checklist to make sure we are on track with our plans! Momentarily, I have been cheating fashion for furniture, cheese fries for salad (without dressing, even till today) and news feed for intellectual books. Will see how that works for me. As for now, it's been working pretty well!

Hello, by the way!

Amidst our preparation for the exam season (be it our mid-sems, mid-years, whatever), I am sure there is more to life than just burying our faces in books! Even so, we can't possibly keep track of everything that's happening around us! Like even for me, I can't possibly study for hours and let life go past just like that. Where's the meaning in that? So, I have decided to crystallize our entertainment so that we don't really have to think so much on what should we do on our 2-3 hour break from mugging!

Let's talk about movies! Especially during exam season, I just feel watching movies is the best therapy you can do to get over my stress and woes. That's the only time your mind is immersed in something that's not real; sort of a temporary escape from reality, just to give you cluttered mind a break.

The best part of this is that, you can work around your timing because you know once the movie ends, you will have to go back to study. If you're going to say, play a console game, odds are you will be too distracted to get to the next level! Where's the end to that?

I have a list of movies that I would really love to watch, and I think everyone should too! Here goes the five movies you should watch in May!

Just a word of caution though, this post may contain spoilers!

Marvel’s The Avengers : Age Of Ultron
Avengers: Age of Ultron is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team The Avengers. I watched it last night and it was epic! If you like to watch action, something that keeps you on the edge of your seat then it's a definitely must-watch. There will probably be no end to Avengers movies but there's always something to look forward to like getting inspired to look like Captain America, or getting a free pass to have a good look at Wanda Maximoff after transformation.

The Age of Adaline
When I saw this trailer, I told myself it's a must-watch because of Blake Lively as Adaline! Like, I wasn't even paying attention to the content of the teaser! I had to watch it twice to know what were they really teasing me about! It hit me then. I want to watch this movie because I wanted to know if she will ever grow old at the end of the day? Why does she want to find out the reason she doesn't age? Does she want to find the cure to her problem?

For me, if given that longevity to live, I'd probably stop questioning and start living!

Adaline is about a young woman, born at the turn of the 20th century, rendered ageless after an accident. After many solitary years, she meets a man who complicates the eternal life she has settled into.

Pitch Perfect 2
Pitch Perfect 2 is an upcoming American musical comedy film, a little bit like Glee where it has a final showdown of contending teams. After a humiliating command performance at Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas enter an international competition that no American group has ever won in order to regain their status and right to perform. I just hope the songs are catchy, upbeat and to dance for! I'm looking forward to see Fat Amy! Loving her confidence!

Hot Pursuit
Hot pursuit is about an uptight and by-the-book cop who tries to protect the outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.

I like action comedy like The Heat and White Chicks, and I hope Hot Pursuit will not only be as good, but better! Especially with Sofia Vergara as the villain!

Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland is a science fiction mystery film about a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor who embarks on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.

It's so full of fantasy and very out of this world, which makes me want to watch this badly!

That's all, see you folks!
