Valentino F/W 2015

Dropped by Valentino this week to check out their new collection! Looking forward to see their entire men's collection coming to Singapore soon! Anyway, here's an inspiration for some of you since we are moving into the second half of the year with more festivities coming up, we need to dress well for the occasion!

This season, Valentino features sensuality and independence.

For Valentino’s F/W 2015 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli capture the essence of the world of contemporary women, portraying its changes and evolution.

From their modern perspective, the two creative directors recognize signs of modernity in two unconventional people, both artist and muse: Emilie Flöge and Celia Birtwell.

These two different women share a singular approach to life: they combine fragility and sensuality and give strength and depth to modest grace.

The inevitable icons of the new Valentino collection follow the season's moods and evolve. Rockstud comes in a color block version that contrasts with black, while knotted fringe and braids are boho touches.

Clothes become an artist's canvas on which exquisite intarsia from scenes and landscapes is harmoniously expressed through prints, seeking cosmic conjunctions and motifs of astral inspiration.

Opulent sensuality is expressed through floral prints and butterfly motifs that are the result of the collaboration with Celia Birtwell and are given a luminous touch through raised metallic threads and contrasts of stripes, triangles and geometric shapes.

Light materials such as chiffon and lace contrast with heavy felt, while shades of gold, ivory, green, pale blue and pink blend in the palette dominated by absolute graphic black.

These are just a few of its glamorous composition! To find out more, please visit VALENTINO at:
