Introducing NutriForce's NutriWhey Protein by EPN

They say, good things come to those who sweat.

I could not agree more. When it comes to exercising, I actually do enjoy sweating and it does not feel like I have hit the gym if do not feel any muscle aches at all. Pain is something that we should be accustomed to - it builds strength, and sweating surely helps a lot in detoxifying your body system.

Anyone who goes to the gym would probably agree with me on this - the satisfaction you get from going to the gym is nothing more than the muscle aches you are getting from your workout. Based on what I have read before, here's why.

Known as delayed onset muscle soreness, it is a common result of physical activity that stresses the muscle tissue beyond what it is accustomed to. The mild muscle strain injury creates microscopic damage to the muscle fibres - which causes the pain (theoretically). It is an indication that your muscles are adapting to your fitness programme. Nobody who works out escapes this phase be it novice or professional. Hence, the satisfaction.

While recovery naturally occurs in our body, some of us would prefer to have an expedited recovery for the next training. Hence, it is vital to get support from supplements like protein or amino.

Elite Pro Nutrition (EPN) introduces NutriWhey - the all-natural protein that is based on research supported whey protein. Whey protein is typically considered to be the most effective form of protein relating to exercise. Breaking down standard whey protein any further to improve digestion may not provide any added benefits for muscle repair or exercise recovery. Any process that further filters or isolates whey protein removes the immune boosting properties that are naturally occurring in the protein.

NutriWhey by NutriForce Sports come in common flavours like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and not leaving behind exotic ones like caramel and coffee.

Best mixed with milk, NutriWhey claims to improve recovery from exercise through tissue and muscle repairs from workouts - which ideally expedite muscle soreness recovery, has a rapid digestion time compared to other leading sources of protein, has higher absorption rate compared to food, and high in BCAA which helps in anti-catabolism.

It has been great for me because for a start they taste great be it the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I am not a fan of chocolate flavoured drinks but this, I am fine with because interestingly it has real chocolate bits which engages my tongue. Something to chew and play around with. Likewise for vanilla and strawberry. Only downside is that the chocolate bits tend to sink in my bottle, which I have to shake each time it goes down. On the upside, shaking the bottle ensures that my drink is well mixed! Personally loving the alpine strawberry because the strawberry bits reminds me of this familiar coffee topping I had.

While many would think taste is not important, I would not want to take supplement that tastes like hardcore medicine. Additional nutrition for sports should be delicious and definitely easy on the tongue because after a hard day working out in the gym, you would want something nice to consume. Just as good as a nice meal after!

By the way, supplementary diet are not magic powders. Proper diet and adequate rest is needed to perform optimally on top of excellent supplementation. As such, it is best to consume NutriWhey right after your workout.

Personally, apart from not having any artificial flavourings, colourings or sweeteners, I like the fact that NutriForce series are numbered. Number 1 means it is for pre-workout, 2 is good for recovery, and 3 is advanced nutrition so that consumers like myself are well informed what are they for. To find them, just look at the number on the bottom left of the product sticker!

NutriWhey has been helpful in alleviating my muscle soreness after my workout by accelerating my recovery for the following training.

As a dietary supplement consume 1 serving with 6-8 ounces of water or milk post-exercise. Advanced users may consume 2 servings with 12-16 ounces of water or milk post-exercise. Nutri-Whey can be used in between meals but should not be used to replace a meal!

Motivation is important and it is so knowing NutriForce is my support! Looking forward to try out Balanced Hydration from their Advanced Nutrition series. Will tell you more soon!
