A Day Out Finding White Outfit

I had dinner last Friday with my pals at Agrobazaar. It's been a while since we had dinner together and catch up! Talked about today's society and other things since they are in that line of work. It's always amazing to know about our society from people who are always on the ground to provide social welfare as they know first hand on the real problems faced by our people.

On Saturday my family and I went to Kampong Glam to find white outfit for my cousin's wedding. I was a bit conflicted on what to wear because I have quite a few whites so I was undecided if I should keep my outfit western, traditional, or Arabian. I don't want to look like I'm the groom so I'm keeping it simple while sticking to the colour theme.

Let's just hope it doesn't get dirty from feasting all the good food!

While shopping we dropped by the Malay Heritage Centre to get some culture. They are currently having an exhibition on the history of Kampong Glam till 3 April 2016 which I find fascinating to see how the place have changed drastically in a span of short time. So much so it felt like it was yesterday we took the classic old bus or see the old palace that has now been transformed into the hub of Singapore's Malay world that provides beneficial knowledge for tourists and local visitors like myself.

This thing is very heavy! Word has it that in the olden days hawkers have to carry this shoulder pole around on average of eight to ten hours. This does not have anything in it yet and I barely survived eight minutes of carrying. I wonder what's their secret to endurance back then! Speaking of endurance, I have to do four sets of ergo in less than a week. I don't think I will be able to pull my luggage after that?

Stay tuned for the next update!
