An Evening at mc2 - Singapore's First Smart Blind Gallery

An evening at mc2 gallery was well spent.

mc2 is the Singapore's first smart blind gallery and now has expanded its premise. This calls for celebration as mc2 offers an exciting retail experience, with an advanced smart living experience on top of housing Singapore's first-ever indoor display of full-size Renson outdoor blinds. Along with the launch of its newly expanded gallery, mc2 launched the full range of ALTEX indoor blinds and curtains. mc2 brings in the best collection of premium furniture, designer fabrics as well as the solutions of renewed electronics giants, sound and lighting brands.

Smart living is the new norm in 2019. Bill Gates had his home run on technology since the day Microsoft became famous. It was then just a dream for the many. Now, with accessibility to internet and smart gadgets, having a smart home is within reach. Better yet, entirely wireless.

At mc2 you can experience the concept of smart home at ALTEX Solution Centre. mc2 has collaborated renowned brands like Samsung and Sonos to bring in voice-enabled smart-home devices. From curtains to blinds, glass films to home appliances such as air-conditioners, lighting and vacuum cleaners, these devices can be synced with Google Assistant. There should be no reason you do not have the time to have a managed, prim and tidy house. With this technology, you can also preset your preferences and control the ambience of the room automatically.

One of my personal favourite was the first-ever Renson Outdoor Blinds Experience Centre at mc2. The newly built centre is equipped with full suite of Renson outdoor blinds solutions and coloured LED illuminated ceiling that can display over 200,000 colour hues to simulate different weather conditions. If you had been to Universal Studios Singapore (USS), this is a home version of the Lights, Camera, Action attraction. What I like best is the automated retractable Lapure's series. It is simple and sturdy making it suitable for Singapore's erratic weather.

The gallery was graced by mc2's celebrity clients like actor Mark Lee and national basketball player Chase Tan.
