Back in Tekong - Do I Miss Life Here?
I do not miss this place.
I do not have to because my heart will always be here. So many fond memories that cannot be erased just through passing time. I have no list of message to enlistees telling you how to survive National Service because I am in no place for such, and I have no influence to tell you the benefits of throwing away your two years.
If you had gone through your full term wholeheartedly, no matter what rank you are, what personality type you have, no matter what is your medical status, I assure you will never sit on a dining table without having a story to tell.
